Great Views of the Truckee Meadows from the two major climbs in the race. Point to Point on dirt roads and trails. Running on snow pack likely at highest points (~8900\').
12,000\' of elevation change for the 50K and 20,000 feet of elevation change for the 50 miler.
The two person relay will follow the same course as the 50 km and change at the Boomtown aid station (approx. 16 mi.). Crew access only at the start, Boomtown and the finish.

The host hotel will be Boomtown Hotel & Casino on Highway 80 at the Boomtown exit in Verdi. Boomtown is located at about the middle of the race course, within easy walking distance of the aid station and relay exchange point, has an RV Park and is easily accessible by freeway from the Reno Tahoe International Airport. They will have a special room rate available for race participants, a shuttle to the start and will host the pre-race briefing.
