The spirit of inclusive participation is the driving factor in the Women?s 8K. With the support of Seagate Technology, we have created a unique opportunity for a fast 8-kilometer course that goes right through downtown Denver. Similar to Seagate?s philosophy in developing reliable products that enhance performance and support people with a mobile lifestyle, they wanted to create a performance enhancing atmosphere that encourages all women to get out on the course on race day and build the camaraderie and support for those who may be running their first or thirtieth event.
Seagate will also donate mobile Pocket Disc Drives to a women?s centric charity. This year, they have chosen The Gathering Place as the Women?s 8k beneficiary. Along with Seagate?s donation in support of this non-profit, a portion from every race entry will be donated to The Gathering Place to assist with their efforts supporting women and children in need within the Denver metro area.

The course will start and finish at Riverfront Park and run through the neighborhoods in and around downtown Denver, out to Sloan's Lake and back to Downtown to conclude in the ?Runner's Village?. The festival atmosphere will feature food, drink and multiple hospitality areas.
