The 5K features a Far Side costume contest with prizes. This traditional Thanksgiving weekend Sunday race benefits the Academy and all registered runners receive a collectible Far Side long sleeve t-shirt with this year's cartoon, goodie bag, and course support. The Far Side(R) is a registered trademark of FarWorks, Inc. and is used with their permission.
Lincoln Way to 9th Avenue entrance to the park. Park on streets or in some garages in the area. There is also a new garage under the de Young Museum which is accessible at 10th Avenue and Fulton Streets.
