This is the premiere 50K race in the Southeast. Taking place on a beautiful dirt-packed trail with Tennessee mountain stone thrown in, and with a 2200 ft. elevation gain, the StumpJump 50K benefits the Cumberland Trail Conference, a non-profit working to complete a 300+ mile long recreational trail running along the Cumberland Plateau. 11-mile race also available. Free carbo supper provided by RockCreek.

The marked point is Nolan Elementary, where the start/finish line is located. If you see the dirt trail to the Northwest, you can follow the beginning of the course.
For more detailed course, check out the map here: http://www.rockcreek.com/events/cumberlandracemap.asp
If someone wants to run with a GPS this year, I'd like to get a more detailed map on motionbased.com so we can see it on Google Earth.
