Surf: Beach Break
Playa San Pedrito, aka Las Palmas, is sometimes confused with the larget beach to the south Playa San Pedro. However this beach is much smaller (thus the name "Little Pedro Beach") and much more secluded. Currently there are no houses except the abondoned one near the parking area and hardly any signs of civilization except the few horses occasionally wandering on the beach. All the land around the beach is privately owned and there is no camping allowed. For camping, check out Playa San Pedro to the south.
Fishing
The shore is much different at this beach than many of the others. The riptides seem to be less intense and the shallow water extend further than those on the other steeper beaches. A good place to surf fish.
Surfing
While this could only be considered a good surfing beach in only the largest of swells, this is a pretty good beach for boogie boarding.
Directions
Located off Highway 19 around KM57. The entrance is across from Campo Experimental (radio tower). Follow the sandy road towards the beach. Park at the abandoned house and walk the trail through the palm grove to the beach.
