I am writing this not a participant, but as the promoter of the Vermont 50.
We started as a running race, and we have added the MT Bike venue. I am committed to make this the best ultra run in the Northeast. The runners are our future, and I am going to make them our largest participant group. We have 700 Mt Bikers, and almost 200 runners. I have added a 50K section and will continue to find more reasons for runners to join us. We have the best aid stations, the best music, and the BEST Food you will ever find at an event. Come let us show you.

As Race Director of The VT 50, and a race committee member, we do listen to all of the runners' comments good and bad about our event.Again we only want to make our runners feel VERY welcome. The biggest concern has been sharing the trail with 650 MT Bikers. The main problem was on a section of trail where the 50K runners meet with the expert (faster) Bikers and there was not a feeling of safety. To correct this, we will start our
50K running field 1.5 hours later.
So if you are looking for a 50 mile or a 50K ultra Run, please come join us this Sepember and let us know your thoughts.

Do you provide the opportunity for sports suppliers/vendors to show their products before the race in a booth style setting?
