This is a South Boulder favorite for road hill reapeats. Cyclists and runners can be seen doing repeats of measured parts or the entire hill, which is approximately one mile long. At the base of the hill you'll find on the left side of the road a "Start" point marked off. Then, there are plain marks every 50 meters and total distance in meters measured every 100 meters. There is a small dirt shoulder on both sides of the road which is convenient for running back down.
Please be aware of traffic coming and going up and down this hill. Leash your dog if you want to run with him/her, but frankly that doesn't sound like fun to do hill repeats while coordinating a leashed dog! Also, note that NCAR drive is a private drive and while it is okay to traverse during daylight hours, it is closed after dark for security (I know this from one attempt to do hill repeats after work on one snowy winter night!)
From Broadway, take Table Mesa west until the last road in the subdivisions adjacent to the Boulder Mountain Parks open space area. Find parking (or heck, park at King Soopers at the corner of Table Mesa and Broadway and then run .5 mile uphill to warm up!) and then jog uphill until you find the first marker spraypainted on the LEFT side of the road. There is also parking up at the top next to the NCAR building.
