This is a great out-and-back trail just west of Boulder. It starts in the vicinity of the old Meyers Homestead on a dirt/gravel road. The trail is very easy to follow, and climbs a moderate grade to the half-way point where you are treated to incredible views of the Continental Divide along the Indian Peaks.

For the second half of the trail, simply turn around and retrace your route back to the trailhead.

If you have a dog, bring a leash because there is a lot of wildlife in this area and you will be sharing the trail with mountain bikers.

To get to the Meyers Gulch Trailhead from Boulder, take Baseline Road (west) past Chautaugua Park and up the steep and windy Flagstaff Road for approximately 7 miles. The trailhead will be on your right. If you get to the Walker Ranch Trailhead, you have gone about .5 miles too far.

There is plenty of parking, and restrooms are available at the trailhead.
