The course is an out-and-back route throught the heart of Maggie Valley. The starting line is on Highwat 19 in front of Ghost Town. The race is run in the lane nearest the curb (left), it turns and the return should be run in the lane next to the center diveder lane: other participants will still be to your right after the turn. Follow the lane markings and stay to the left out and back. Since this is an out-and-back course, you will begin to meet other runners on the way back. Please allow adequate room for fellow participants. Please be aware of road drainage grates, which cause uneven surfaces.
Take I-40 west to exit 27 which takes you to 23/74. Folow that to exit 103 to Highway 19 to Maggie Valley. Also take I-40 east to exit 20 south o Hwy 276 to Hwy 19. Turn right on Hwy 19 to Maggie Valley.
