Out and back course using the first and last 3.1 miles of the Leadville Trail 100 course. It starts at the start/finish of the Leadville Trail 100 course. It runs out of town on 6th Street. At the edge of town, the road turns to gravel and gradually goes downhill. At the turnaround, your next 2 miles are uphill. It then returns to town and finishes on paved road.
The race start and packet pickup is on the corner of 6th Street and Harrison Ave. in downtown Leadville.
