Half Marathon: Certified 13.1 mile course- 2006 RRCA State Championship event- ranked as one of the most scenic in the country by Runner's World - Starts at 8 AM in Golden Gate Park on John F. Kennedy Drive at Stow Lake Drive. Route through Golden Gate Park and along Ocean Beach Great Highway, with return finish in Golden Gate Park.
Finishes on Martin Luther King Drive near the Great Highway. Course closes after 3 hours.
5K Fun Run/Walk: Starts at the same time and from the same location, and ends at the same location as the Half Marathon.
Parking: Near the finish area- Parking Lots along Ocean Beach and near Cliff House at West end of Golden Gate Park with FREE shuttle buses to start area. Buses run from 6:15 to 7:15 AM (NO shuttle buses after race)
