The course is mostly flat and fast. It is USATF certified 8K race. The 8K entry includes a FREE post-race pancake breakfast. There are also kids races whick are run by grade from 5th grade down to Pre-K starting at 10:00 am. There is also an open 1 mile certified race at 11:00 am. There is free post race food and drink with prizes in 10 year age categories for the 8K and 1 mile and by grade in the kids races. Fully automated timing is used.
From San Francisco: Take 280S, exit at Page Mill. Cross page mill onto Arastradero. Follow Arastradero , just after you pass Foothill expressway, look for the entrace to Gunn High School (780 Arastradero Rd) to park. Follow signs to the race registration (approx 1/4 mile).
From San Jose: Take 280N, exit at Page Mill, take a left off the exit go under the freeway and take a left onto Arastradero road. Follow Arastradero , just after you pass Foothill expressway, look for the entrace to Gunn High School (780 Arastradero Rd) to park. Follow signs to the race registration (approx 1/4 mile).
