Half Marathon
The half marathon course begins on Cty K just east of East Buckatabon Lake Road where the course continues south to East Hunter Lake Road and onto Boot Lake Road, then east on County G before the final leg runs along Adams Road, Ohio Street and onto Michigan Street finishing south of the bridge after crossing over the Eagle River into Riverview Park. Finishers receive custom-printed Journeys Marathon T-shirts and die-cast medals. Race Packet Pickup is Friday, May 11, 2007 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. during the All-You-Can-Eat Spaghetti Dinner at the Norhtland Pines Middle School or from 6:00 to 8:00 a.m. at Northland Pines Middle School on race day, Saturday, May 12, 2007. Busses will transport runners from the Northland Pines Middle School to the start line in Conover promptly at 8 a.m. Bag and tag will be available at the start line.

13.1 Mile Power Walk
Journeys Marathon 13.1 Mile Power Walk is designed for the walker who wants to be scored and listed in the race results. Participants agree to walk the entire course. Registration is held at the Northland Pines Middle School (Hwy 45 N at 1700 Pleasure Island Rd. in Eagle River, Wisconsin) on Friday evening and early on Saturday morning. Full marathon, half marathon and power walk leave by bus from the Northland Pines Middle School to be bussed to the start lines. The 5K start line is in Riverview Park (located on Hwy 45 N). This is also the finish line for the full marathon, half marathon and power walk.

How to get to Eagle River, Wisconsin:

BY AUTO:
From Chicago: Take Interstate 90 West to Madison then take Interstate 39 North to Merrill and exit to Hwy 17 North to Eagle River. ( approx. driver time 5:30)

From Minneapolis: Take Interstate 94 East to Chippeawa Falls. Take Hwy 29 to Wausau. Take Interstate 39 North to Merrill and exit to Hwy 17 North to Eagle River. ( approx. driver time 4:00)
