Beautiful Cape Cod is the sight for this historic race named after the legend Johnny Kelley who won numerous Boston Marathons and is still and intrigal part of the race. The race is a 5 mile loop and is completed twice for the 10 miler. Attracts lots of local talent, as well as many out of towners/staters who are familiar with the race and the cape area from the summer.
From Sagamore Bridge to 744 West Main St, Hyannis
(approx. 16 mi.). Take Exit 6 off Route 6 / Mid Cape Highway. Follow Route 132 south towards Hyannis. Turn right at 1st light onto Phinney's Lane. Turn right at next light onto Route 28. Bear right onto West Main Street. Barnstable High School is on left - the start/finish of the JKRR ... on your mark, get set, and have a great race!
