The Irish American Club of Woburn and the Woburn Friends of Hospice Care, Inc are once again coming togther to raise awareness and support for the local Hospice serving Woburn families. All proceeds from the 24th Annual Road Race, Health Walk and Kid's Run will benefit this worthy cause. The scenic, wheel measured course has rolling hills and takes you through the scenic Ponds reservation area of Woburn/Winchester.
Registration Fee includes quality sweatshirt (T-shirt for kids) guaranteed for entries received before September 25th. 1st 35 pre-registered entries will receive a BONUS Hand-Held New Balance Stop Watch! Race course has 2 water stops. Post race refreshments include chowder, hot dogs, beer and non-alcoholic beverages, etc. DJ and live entertainment provided. $5 Raffle for many fabulous prizes!!
Race Packets may be picked up at the IA Club (147 Main St, Woburn) on Saturday October 2nd from 12-3pm or morning of the race.
From 128 North/South: Take exit 35 (Rt 38) Main St. Go South towards Winchester. In Woburn Center go 3/4 around rotary, south on Rt 38 for 1/2 mile. The Irish American Club is on the left next to Walgreen's.
From 93 North/South. Take Exit 36, Montvale Ave. Head towards Woburn on Montvale Ave for about 1/2 mile. Take Left on Green St. (Dunlot Tire SIgn) Take Green St to the end and take Left onto Main St. (Rt 38) Go through 1st intersection and the Irish American Club will be on your left next to Walgreen's.
