This run gains 4600 ft to Arizona's highest Mountain. It begins at Schultz Tank Trailhead. Run up Weatherford Trail to Doyle Saddle. Then drop into the Inner Basin and contour along the caldera of the San Francisco Peaks. Bear to the left and make a final steep climb to the saddle between Agassiz and Humphrey's Peak. Run/Walk the last mile to Humphrey's Peak (at 12633 ft Arizona's Highest Mountain). Then run back down to the saddle and descend to the Arizona Snowbowl via the Humphrey\'s Trail. Once at Snowbowl, make a left through the lower parking lot to the left. Take the Kachina Trail as it gradually descends back to the Weatherford Trail and return down Weatherford to Schultz Tank Trailhead.

Drive north from Flagstaff and turn right on Schultz Pass Road. Follow Schultz Pass Road (bearing to left at junction with Elden Lookout Road) and once the pavement turns to dirt it is about 4.5 miles to the trailhead.
