This trail is at Herb Parsons State Lake, it is located in Fayette Co.just outside the Shelby Co line. Leaving Memphis from I 40 East get off at Germantown Rd exit South bound. Go apporx. 4 mi to Macon rd ( redlight) take a left, you'll stay on that rd for quite a ways. You'll go throough the small town of Cordova and Fisherville at the 3 way stop stay straight on through Fisherville still on Macon. You will pass a county fire sta. on your right hand side( point of interest for me I'm a fireman) keep going< you'll leave Shelby Co and enter Fayette Co. Start looking for the brown sign on the right side of the road saying Herb Parson's lake it is a small sign. Turn right there I do not know the name of the street sorry. The entrance to the park is on the left. This should get you there.

The trail starts on the leeve of the lake on the right side of the park looking at the lake. It is a all single track lap very tight in places, very techniclal for Memphis. The trail will stay pretty muddy after a good rain. There is a word of caution to stay on the trail and not wander off onto the archery range for obvious reasons. The trail is easy to follow in most places, you will leave the woods one time back onto the blacktop take a left here go 40 or 50 yds and reenter the woods. Lots of fun and lots of posion ivy so enjoy
