Girl Scouts - Mile Hi Council proudly presents the 9th annual Girl Scouts 5K & 1K Walk/Run on October 22, 2006 at Denver's Washington Park. This is a day of fun and fitness for families throughout the community and includes a fun fitness fair with exhibits and sports clinics. The Girl Scouts 5K & 1K Walk/Run isn't a fundraiser. It's a testament to our dedication to helping all girls start a lifetime of healthy habits at a young age and getting families and friends to move together. It is brought to you in part by your contributions to Friends of Girl Scouts, QSP and Cookies. Whether you like to run, walk or you are just interested in getting more active, this is the event for you and your family!
Washington Park is located in central Denver, north of Interstate 25.
