31 miles on 3 loops of rolling hills in a beautiful country setting on asphalt and dirt. A great event for those wanting to do their first ultra run. There is no cut off. This is a 31-mile fun run with no bells & whistles. It is a Mangum Track Club & Runner from Hell event.
From Southern Pines/Raleigh:
Take US 1 South to Hoffman, NC turn right just beside Hoffman BP gas station. Then turn right onto York St. and follow it to Derby Rd.(SR1003) and turn left. From there go Jones Spring Church Rd. and turn left. The Derby Community Building will be on the right ? mile.
From South Carolina/Cheraw:
Take Hwy. 177 North from Cheraw, SC to Hamlet, NC. Hwy. 177 will run into US 1 North at the North Carolina Speedway. From there go to Hoffman, NC and turn left beside Hoffman BP gas station. Then turn right onto York St. and follow it to Derby Rd.(SR1003) and turn left. From there go to Jones Spring Church Rd. and turn left. The Derby Community Building will be on the right ? mile.
