Crawford State Park is known as a quality perch and crappie fishery. Many lunker channel catfish and some dandy largemouth bass have also been caught here. Recently, many large northern pike have also been caught.

There is no limit to the yellow perch. Same with the northern pike unless you catch one 34 inches or larger, then you can have only one of that size. The limit for the crappie, catfish and bass is ten, but the bass must be 15 inches or larger to keep; all smaller ones must be returned to the water.

Fishing is permitted anywhere on the reservoir. Use or possession of minnows or fish for bait is prohibited.

From Delta, take Colorado Highway 92 east to Hotchkiss. Stay right on 92 where it intersects Colorado Highway 133 and drive 10 miles to Crawford. The park is one mile south of town.
