There are several race options. Inidividuals can run the full half mararthon distance. There are also three-person relay teams, with each member running 4-5 miles. Finally, there is a 5k walk option, as well as a children's 1/2 mile run.
The race begins on the University of Missouri campus, heads south of Columbia and is run on both the roads, and the gravel recreational trail that runs through town (the trail is flat and groomed). The course is well-supported.
Inidividuals running the full distance will get a long-sleeved coolmax shirt and a finishers medal. All other participants will receive long sleeved cotton shirts. After the race, participants enjoy free post-race massage, music, a catered meal, and awards.
The race begins at Peace Park on the north side of the University of Missouri's campus.
