Cherokee Boulevard is one of the most popular running spots in Knoxville. Located in the upscale Sequoyah Hills Neighborhood, the path is a crushed gravel trail in the grassy median of Cherokee Boulevard. The path begins near a large parking area on the bank of the Tennessee river, just off of Cherokee Boulevard. The beginning of the path is marked by two large columns. The path runs alongside the river, heading east then north back up to Kingston Pike. At 2.6 miles and Kingston Pike, turn around to run back to your car. From Kingston Pike, turn onto Cherokee Boulevard, follow for about 2.6 miles to the parking lot at the end for the start.
