5k Run starts at the tennis courts at the North Park Boat House goes up McKinney the around the ice rink and finishes by the Boat House.
5K Walk starts at Latrobe grove by the Boat House walking counterclockwise along Lakeshore Drive turn ariound at Kolich Grove and come back to finish at the Boat House.
Chip system, Medals awarded to 1,2,3 place finishers in 11 age categories.
North Park is located in the North Hills. From Pittsburgh take RTE 279 North to 79 North. Follow to Ext 22, Rte. 910 to Wexford. Right onto 910. Follow for 4.0 miles to Pierce Mill Rd. Follow Pierce Mill into park. Follow signs for parking. Boathouse will be on right hand side of Pierce Mill Rd.
Parking is available at 4-5 main lots and picnic grottos located around the lake. Park at the ice rink (200 cars), parking lot behind the Rose barn (75-100 cars), spillway lot (150 cars), Stone field (100 cars), and by the tennis court entrance (30-40 cars). It is suggested you use one of these lots as the county police have requested that we not use the grassy fields around the boathouse.
