Great run along a historic road on Cape Cod. Start at Barnstable High School and run to Osterville along Centerville/Osterville Road. You will pass by old Cape mansions and travel along the Centerville River, even crossing a bridge at one point. Be aware there is two way traffic and you are running on the road for most of the trip.
Start at Barnstable High School parking lot and run directly across the st onto Pine St. Pine Street veers off to the left about 1 mi into the run and you stay on the this road for the remainder of the run. At the only stop light, next to 4 Seas Ice Cream, you continue straight ahead and will start to pass huge old Cape homes and soon enough find youself crossing over the Centerville River and into Oysterville. Run thru the town until the end of mainstreet and enjoy the quaint little village for lunch.
