Join us for a beautiful luminaria-lit evening run through the quiet desert streets of rustic Cave Creek, Arizona. Enjoy homemade frybread and chili after the event. The route travels along rolling hills and paved roads. Bring your kids for the TIMEX Kids' Dashes!
Many restaurants and independent galleries and businesses line the streets of Cave Creek and neighboring Carefree. Make this race a destination event and take in some of the local restaurants after the event. All this is available at the Luminaria Run website!
Scottsdale/Mesa/Tempe take either Scottsdale Road or Pima Road north to Cave Creek Road. Turn west on Cave Creek Road and follow down the steep hill into Cave Creek. Continue to first (and only) stop sign. Turn North (right)on Schoolhouse Road. Race parking/staging area is just north of Cave Creek Road on Schoolhouse Road.
From Phoenix/Glendale/Peoria/Surprise, etc. Follow Cave Creek Road north past the Carefree Highway (Route 74) until you come to the first (and only) stop sign -- about 4 miles north of Carefree Highway. Turn left on Schoolhouse Road (at stop sign) and follow past the post office to race parking/staging area on your left.
