Look for the blue diamonds that are on the trees once you get into "The Crown" subdivision. Use these to guide you to the trailhead through some questionable intersections with the newer roads. Starts at 9,888 feet (Peak 9) and ends at 10,095 feet (Spruce Creek)(highest point 10,345 feet).

Access 1 from Breckenridge, Peak 9:
From I-70 take Exit 203, Frisco / Breckenridge, and travel south on HWY 9 through Frisco and travel to Breckenridge. The lower access is via the Beaver Run parking area at the Peak 9 base of Breckenridge Ski Area. You can park either in the limited Beaver Run Peak 9 parking or park down in town and take the free shuttle bus to the base area. Once at the Beaver Run parking area you will need to ski approximately 100 yards across the Lehman ski run to the Burro Trail trailhead on the south side of the run.

Access 2 from Spruce Creek:
From I-70 take Exit #203, Frisco / Breckenridge, and travel south on HWY 9 through Frisco and travel to Breckenridge. Continue south on HWY 9 past Breckenridge for 2.3 miles and turn right into ?The Crown? subdivision (County Road #800). Take the first right and follow the road taking left turns at the forks for approximately 1 mile, to the end of the plowed road. Parking space is limited. Do not parallel park on the County Road nor on the private drives. Park in the plowed spaces and begin your tour on the Spruce Creek Trail.
