The area offers modern campsites as well as a variety of regattas, hydroplane races and other special events.
Boyd Lake State Park is a popular spot with anglers for bass, catfish, crappie, perch, rainbow trout and walleye. During the winter, ice fishing is a favorite pastime. Underwater ridges and inlet areas can produce great fishing when the water is flowing. A Colorado fishing license is required, and Division of Wildlife regulations apply.
From I-25 take exit 257B (Hwy 34 West) to Madison Avenue. Take a right on Madison and follow the State Park signs.
