JOIN US HIGH ATOP MT. TAMALPAIS!
It doesn't get much better than this coastal ridge trail run. Enjoy the rolling singletrack high up on Mt. Tam with views of the Pacific Ocean below. The wildflowers are out of this world at this time of year! Entries are limited. Pre-Register early!
DESCRIPTION | 10K & 18K
This is a revival and a variation of a "classic" event from the EnviroVenture trail-run series.
You?ll follow a combination of paved roadways and dirt singletrack trails, offering striking views of Bolinas Lagoon, the Pacific Ocean and Marin County watershed.
From the Start at Rock Springs, the course follows Ridgecrest Blvd. along the spine of Bolinas Ridge separating East and West Marin County. 10K runners will take a left at McKennan Gulch and head back to Rock Springs along the Coastal Trail. The 18K course continues along Ridgecrest Trail to Bolinas/Fairfax Road and also returns via the Coastal Trail.
From Hwy. 101 (north of the Golden Gate Bridge):
Take the Hwy.1/Stinson Beach exit toward Mill Valley/Stinson Beach. Take a left at the light for Hwy. 1/Shoreline Hwy. Follow Hwy. 1 west for approximately 5 miles. Take a right on Panoramic Hwy. Follow Panoramic Hwy. about four miles to the intersection with Pan Toll Road. Make a right onto Pan Toll and follow the road to the Rock Springs parking lot at Mt. Tamalpais Watershed. Rock Springs is located at the intersection of Pan Toll Road and Ridgecrest Blvd.
