Azle is located on the shores of Eagle Mountain Lake, 17 miles northwest of Fort Worth on the Jacksboro Highway (Texas Highway 199).
The Azle Lake run treats you to the fresh air of Eagle Mountain Lake and country neighborhood atmosphere of Azle! Numerous volunteers are there to assist you, and you'll be treated to music and refreshments!
We guarantee accurate time splits at all the mile markers, and there will be aid stations on the 10k course. Professional medical care will be available. 6:30am to 7:45am is late registration and packet pick up
8:00am 10K Run and 2 Mile Fun Run start
(It is the runners' responsibility to complete registration on time, the race will start on time ready or not!)
8:45am 2 Mile Walk begins
10:00am Awards ceremony and Prize drawings and Recognitions
Directions:
From Fort Worth, take Jacksboro Highway (Texas 199) which proceeds northwest. From loop interstate 820, go about 10 miles NW on Hwy 199. Take the FM 730 North (Boyd Hwy) exit and turn right onto FM 730 North. Proceed about 3/4 mile and turn right into the high school parking area. Park at the high school parking lot, race begins at the elementary school (south side of the high school parking lot).
