Events include a certified 10K running road race, and also a 2 mile run and a 2 mile walk, through scenic neighborhoods near Eagle Mountain Lake.

Azle is located on the shores of Eagle Mountain Lake, 9 miles northwest of Loop 820 on the Jacksboro Highway (Texas Highway 199).
The Azle Lake run treats you to the fresh air of Eagle Mountain Lake and country neighborhood atmosphere of Azle! More than 250 volunteers are there to assist you, and you'll be treated to music and refreshments!
We guarantee accurate time splits at all the mile markers, and there will be aid stations on the 10k course. Professional medical care will be available. Directions:
From Fort Worth, take Jacksboro Highway (Texas 199) which proceeds northwest. From loop interstate 820, go about 10 miles NW on Hwy 199. Take the FM 730 North (Boyd Hwy) exit and turn right onto FM 730 North. Proceed about 3/4 mile and turn right into the high school parking area.
