This is a beautiful, out and back run criss crossing Catalina Island, you will see vistas and views that you just do not see in California. View boths sides of the island, the blue oceans, the famous Catalina buffalo, entertaining aid stations with food, drink and music, and all for a great charity that benefits Catalina Island programs. 50-mile out and back on scenic fireroads from Avalon to the Isthmus and return; takes runners through island's interior, which is generally closed.

Seven aid stations with water, Gatorade, defizzed cola, bananas, oranges, pretzels, M&Ms, and Gummi Bears (Drop bags at Little Harbor only!)

There is a 12-hour cut-off time for the race, so stragglers will be on their own after 5:00 p.m.

Crescent & the Pier, Avalon, CA - Santa Catalina Island Co.

You have to either take the helicopter or one of the boat ferries to get to Catalina. The race is a 5:00 am. start so you must be on the island Friday night, January 7th in order to be in the run. Visit our web-site for an entire list of the travel options.
