28th Waterfront Festival 10K/5K When: June 20, 2009, 10K starts @08:00AM, 5K starts @ 08:15AM Support your community by registering for the Alexandria Red Cross Waterfront Festival 10K/5K! Join your friends and neighbors as we run in the beautiful Eisenhower area of Alexandria. Proceeds from the race will benefit the Alexandria Red Cross.
Registration Fee: $35 for 10K and $30 for the 5K (includes t-shirt and Waterfront Festival entry).
No refunds. Race will take place Rain or shine.
Timing:
Chip-timed event using the IPICO chip system.
Prizes and Awards:
Prizes will be awarded for both races $175 for the first place male and female runners and $75 for the second place male and female runners.
Age Group Awards Top two finishers M/F: Under 17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and over.
Doggie Division of the 5K: Dogs will be allowed for the 5K race only. Special prizes will be awarded for Doggie Division winners, sponsored by Dogtopia.
