I just got a new vice for my Birthday last week. I bought a few books and supplies and just gave it a try. It is definitely harder than it looks, and the very first fly was the ugliest thing you have ever seen. However, number 2 and number 3 were looking much better. I think I will take some lessons this winter at my local fly shop.
