The race will take place at Lambert Park, located on the border of the national forest on the east bench of Alpine Utah. Terrain is hillside slopes with patches of oak, maple, and cedar. This is Utah\'s only ice-and-snow bike race!
First loop will climb on doubletrack to "shake out" the pack, then descend and complete the loop on singletrack. Subsequent laps will be entirely singletrack, approximately 4 miles per lap. The exact course will depend on conditions (snow depth, mud, ice), but will be marked at least one week prior to the race.
Expert/Pro men ride 3 laps. Sport Men and Women ride 2 laps. See website for age cateogry breakdown and awards information.
Drive into Alpine. Go straight through the roundabout (continue north). When you come to the stop sign, turn right (east) onto 200 North. Drive to the next stop sign. Turn left (north) onto 200 East. 200 East will become Grove Drive. Go 2 miles north on Grove Drive. The road will veer east just before a T intersection, where you should turn right across the river. The road forks immediately after crossing the river. Left goes to the rodeo grounds parking area; right takes you up to the race check-in at the Bowery.
