Located in central Idaho, lies the Sawtooth National Forest encompassing 2.1 million acres. The season of the year makes no difference as the Sawtooth is a "Forest For All Seasons". Nearby lies the Sawtooth National Recreation Area and the Sawtooth Wilderness. Within the boundaries of the 754,000 acre Sawtooth National Recreation Area (SNRA) are approximately 750 miles of trails, 40 peaks rising over 10,000 feet and 300 plus high mountain lakes that add to the spectacular scenery and vistas.
Directions
From Twin Falls, travelling about 75 miles north on State highway 75 will lead you to the forest.
