There are several places on this website where the visitor may provide us with personal information. This information may come to us through order forms, application forms, survey forms or email subscription lists. In filling out these forms you may be asked for contact information (name, address, telephone number, email address), financial information (credit card numbers) and demographic information (age, gender, education level, income level, etc.).
As with most other websites, our web servers record the Internet Protocol (IP) address of each visitor. This IP address tells us from which domain you are visiting (for instance aol.com), but not your email address. We use the information to help diagnose problems with our server, to administer the website more effectively and to gather broad demographic information.
If you do not want to any of your personal information (age, gender, date or birth, etc.) to be viewable to the public, do not enter it in your personal profile. Only your name, username, and current email address are required to maintain a Thoos account.
At NO time will your email address be made available to the public. Other members may contact you via a web-based email form, but your email address is not revealed to them at any time.
We WILL NOT sell, trade or give away your email address to anyone. Having you as a Thoos member is a privilege that we will not abuse.
We use the contact information to send the visitor new information about Thoos and it’s programs. The visitor’s contact information may be used to contact the visitor when necessary. Get Out Sports reserves the right to use general demographic information to promote the site and better tailor content for your needs, but Get Out Sports will not share individual personal information with anyone.
The visitor’s financial information is used to execute purchase and donation transactions. We share this information with credit card and check processing organizations as necessary to complete the transactions. Get Out Sports does not retain the identifying financial account information once a transaction is completed.
